Little-known laws worldwide

Georgia (Italy)

Rome has a municipal ordinance outlawing eating and drinking in areas of "particular historic, artistic, architectonic and cultural value."

Summer (Bangladesh)

In Bangladesh, children aged 15 and older can be jailed for cheating in their final examinations. Every year the government takes strong measures to prevent cheating and carries out a media blitz to forewarn students through print and TV.

Cayla (US)

In Truro, Massachusetts, US, a groom-to-be must "prove himself manly" prior to marriage by hunting and killing either six blackbirds or three crows.
